First, complete the first ribbon Data and Structure Migration MUST to upsize your existing design, then analyse all the queries using the Migrate Queries Ribbon. This process will also identify missing tables and other design issues in your existing queries.

Doing this then populates the data dictionaries with your entire design.

Now if you proceed as follows you can work out the impact of a field change on your application.

Go to the Browse data Dictionary: Browse Fields.

At the bottom right of the screen choose the following menu choice.

On the scrolling to the right you will see a check box; click this for any fields that you intend on making changes to.

After choosing your fields go to the reporting menu and use the filter at the bottom of the screen to see the available impact reports.

There is also another menu which will search your program code for references to queries.

After doing this it will also find the impact of the changes of fields on your code.

There are also query dependency diagrams which can be printed.
